IT'S ALWAYS NICE TO BE ASKED BACK . . . . . . AGAIN!
Returning to Heythrop Park for a second year but with a twist! In 2018 both the Ballroom and the Marquee were used on successive nights, this involved a fast turnaround between venues but we take those sorts of challenges in our stride.
This year saw the introduction of a 4.5mtr wide 16:9 LED video Wall which we surrounded in shimmerwall tiles to add to the glitzy theme.
The 2017 conference was held at Heythrop Park in Oxfordshire and this time we supplied not only production lighting but also, sound, staging, set and video along with all transport and crew. Lighting consited of 12 x Chauvet 419z washes, 6 x Chauvet 230SR beams, 6 x Robe Vivas with custom snowflake gobos, 14 x Chauvet Hex8 Battens and 24 SMARTe uplighters.
Sound was provided through D&B V-Subs and V10PS with T10PS used as front fill with a Yamaha QL1 out front.
Due to the limitations of using projection in the venue we supplied 2 x 95inch plasma screens on stage with 2 x 65inch as repeater screens.
In 2016 Yellow Events were chosen by TEDAV to provide production lighting, crew and logistics for Parkdean Resorts National Sales Conference and Awards on the 21st and 22nd of Feb at Celtic Manor in South Wales. Lighting designer Rob Lloyd and production electrician Adam Mottley assisted by a local crew rigged 4 x MAC 2000, 10 x GLP Impressions, 14 x Chauvet Hex 8 Battens, 10 x Chauvet SlimPar, 12 x SMARTe uplighters and a generic FOH rig overnight ready for the 2 day event. The rig had to be a little more dynamic than that of your average conference due to Parkdean Resorts showcasing their 2016 production shows during the event. To allow for maximum creativity in such a short set up time Rob Lloyd specified our AVO Pearl Expert and Touch Wing for control.
Immediately after this event the Yellow Events team continued onto Trecco Bay to provide technical support to the Parkdean Resorts Sales and Food conference.
